PINK PETAL POWER!

This week the colour theme in Vancouver is PINK: cherry blossoms carpet the roads with pink petals, magnolia flowers explode with pink flowers, and then there are all those other pink flowers out there…

I have being trying to take photos of cherry blossoms that resemble Chinese paintings… Now all I need to do is write a poem about cherry blossoms in Chinese characters on the photo and I’ll be off…I love the way the pink is laid into the tulip here, as if someone took a pencil crayon to the petals and sketched in the colour. Rhododendrons never cease to amaze!
