Ferns unfurling
Most of these ferns were found on my daily walk into and out of the Pacific Spirit Park, located on the university grounds.
Fiddlehead ferns are a delicacy in the spring markets, and last time I passed by there was a sign saying ‘Don’t Pick the Fiddleheads’, such an appropriate name for unfurling ferns.
fern rising up from the bracken at UBC
a fern trying to straighten itself out
even tree ferns unfurl, this one in Costa Rica
