The only photos that I liked from my first digital camera were those that had been taken inside a dark room that had brilliant light coming through the cracks or windows. The dramatic light spilled over into the rooms, creating soft edges to the light and faint outlines of objects in the darker areas.
My only problem was that there didn’t seem to be too many places where this darkness/light happened. These photos were taken inside one of the buildings at the Britannia Heritage Shipyard in Steveston, where they work restoring older boats and building replicas.
