Sitting by the water reflecting on life while the water is reflecting on the world above it.
These photos were all taken up on Mount Seymour in the mountains above Vancouver. My mom used to go up there all the time and have picnics by one of the many lakes, and then just sit and contemplate the wild beauty (c. 1952). I don’t often just sit and watch the world go by, but maybe I should do it more often.
