There are two people on (the) edge when this photo was taken: one was Al, who loves to go right to the edge of many a precarious situation, and the other was the photographer, me, who gets on edge whenever he pulls one of these stunts.
I believe my last words to him, just before he dashed off to the cliff edge went something like this, “All right, go do it, but at least leave the good camera with me!”
