Mui Ne 2003.
On our third day in Mui Ne we rented a motorbike for the afternoon. We started out going south but there wasn’t much happening so we turned around and headed north.
Our first stop was at a bay filled with fishing boats as far as the eye could see. Through a trick of the light it looked as if it were a painted backdrop and not quite unreal.
These women were waiting for the fishing boats to come in…
Wandering down the stairs to the beach we came upon another unreal sight – millions of scallop shells in lurid colours, some of them looking as if they had been sprayed with fluorescent paint.
