Ireland has more than its fair share of grey days but in County Cork they make up for it by painting the buildings with these vibrant colours.
Dingletown.
A boarded-up building in Port Magee is made vibrant with painted flowers and false windows.
Beara Peninsula.
Crookhaven on Mizen Head.

They are definitely colourful 🙂
I never knew Ireland was so colorful.
In most of Ireland the buildings are of stone and blend into the landscape but in County Cork they seem determined to brighten up the dull Irish weather!
Very well captured… 🙂
What a vibrant gallery!

I recognize some of these places!! Had great craic in Cork!! and Port magee – some lovely chocolate!! Beautiful Eliza!
What on earth is craic? I kept seeing it mentioned but never managed to figure out what it was!
lol!! sounds bad doesn’t it! It’s an Irish word meaning a good time., fun etc!!
I immediately recognize the main photo as Kinsale! How could it be anywhere else! 😉
Nice..I skipped Cork when I was travelling in Ireland in 2003. I wonder, if they had colourful shops and houses back then? Perfect for the theme Vibrant!
