Using Backlighting to Make the Stained Glass Windows of Jaipur’s Palace of the Winds Vibrant

When the Daily Post came up with this week’s topic of ‘Vibrant’ for their Weekly Photo Challenge I thought, ‘oh too bad I already used the brilliantly coloured windows of Udaipur’s Royal Palace for Jennifer’s One Word Challenge: Backlit.’

Then I remembered that almost all the palaces in Northern India’s Rajasthan featured stained glass windows and sure enough, here are some of the vibrant stained-glass windows in Jaipur’s Palace of the Winds made even more vibrant by backlighting.
