Dancers at the Jaipur Elephant Festival in India

There were not only elephants at the Jaipur Elephant Festival; there were also a couple of dance groups.

I raced out of the field when the announcer screamed, “All you tourists get out of there or you are going to be trampled by the elephants!” As a result these shots were all taken by Al, who figured he could stand down a herd of elephants…

As they dance, the peacock dancers raise and lower the peacock tails with the use of strings.
