Bulbs for planting are usually available until October. If the flowers or bulbs won’t survive a trip through customs, then you can find all sorts of other tulip paraphernalia. Wooden tulips are easier to get through customs.Or tulip banners…
I had no idea what this strange looking (and charmingly whimsical) piece of Delftware was until a friend told me it was a ‘Tulip Holder’, a holdover from the time when every single tulip was extraordinarily expensive and were displayed accordingly.Tulips show up in the strangest places.
