If you are in Holland in April you will see masses of tulips in the fields.
If you are in Holland in May, like we were, you will see masses of tulips for sale.
Bulbs for planting are usually available until October.
If the flowers or bulbs won’t survive a trip through customs, then you can find all sorts of other tulip paraphernalia. Wooden tulips are easier to get through customs.

I had no idea what this strange looking (and charmingly whimsical) piece of Delftware was until a friend told me it was a ‘Tulip Holder’, a holdover from the time when every single tulip was extraordinarily expensive and were displayed accordingly.
Tulips show up in the strangest places. How about these cunning wooden shoe slippers?
