A collection of interesting bottles from around the world.
French ciders are bottled using the champagne method – these ones are being recycled…
Bottles at the classy bar in the SS Rotterdam in Holland benefit from lighting that changes from red to blue and back again.
Neon Coca Cola bottle building in Las Vegas, USA.
Bottles of delicious snake wine in Vietnam – this flavour is cobra!
Ancient wine bottles in a Potes cellar in the Picos de Europa, Spain.
I interrupt a shopkeeper in Jaipur who is in the process of filling all these tiny bottles.

I have one of those Vietnam cobra bottles. Purchased it as a gag gift for male sexual enhancement. Not sure if it worked or not…didn’t ask!
We met a grandma who wanted to buy a couple as gag gifts for her grandkids – in the end grandpa convinced her that she might not get them through US customs – did you?
Yes…though it was quite a while ago, pre-9/11. Here’s a link to a published travel article I wrote, which pretty much captures that experience.
