A collection of forests from around the world.
Trees on the walk just past the Ladybower Reservoir in England. Smoke in the jungle in Ostional of Costa Rica.
‘Undetonated explosives’ sign at Vimy Ridge, France.
We all had to get out and walk in the rainforest of the Cameron Highlands, Malaysia.
Ivy-covered tree in Cahir Park, Ireland.
Burnt trees up in the Cascades of Washington, US.
Our guidebook noted that there was a 7 mile walking trail through an old chestnut forest that ended up at the ruins of another monastery. We weren’t planning on doing the whole walk, but it was still interesting to go a short way and see the chestnuts that were just about ready to harvest. (Chestnut forest in Spain.)
Relax on a half cut log – isn’t life difficult? (Cheakamus Lake trail, BC, Canada)
