The clockwork gears in Ghent’s Belltower have an almost whimsical Rube Goldberg contraption look to them (Belgium).

Underneath the bridge in Bilbao, Spain – with all these heavy-duty gears I can only assume that although it doesn’t appear to lift or swing it must have the capability.
