A huge selection of Dutch beers along with a cozy interior make the Arendsnest Pub a great choice to visit when in Amsterdam.
The list of beers on tap the day we were there was posted just outside the door, and there were a lot more posted inside. I wish I had noticed the Citra Sesson from ‘tIJ, that’s one beer I would have liked to have tried.
Inside has a definite pub feel.
This bar snack of a fennel sausage with crackers and grainy mustard was simple but tasty.
I had a Witte Trappist, very good but I’m afraid all the very good beers were starting to taste the same at that point. Al had an Arendsnest Warrior EEM, a session IPA, and his notes say, “bitter without the body and not balanced.”
