A collection of birds spotted around the world.
A raven on top of Cypress Mountain in West Vancouver. Two condors at the zoo in Buenos Aires, Argentina. We saw masses of them from a distance at the condor National Park near Rosario.
A hornbill in Khao Yai National Park, Thailand. He was ‘shot’ through a spotting telescope with my tiny Olympus point and shoot. In Malaysia I saw piles of these amazing birds perched on electrical lines but with only 7x zoom I couldn’t get a decent photo of them!
Birds on one of Delft’s canals (Holland).
I love to watch Pelicans, their landings are so clumsy but somehow end up with a fish anyway! (This one in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.)
This Scarlet Ibis at the KL Zoo in Malaysia has to be the most spectacular bird I’ve ever seen.
Seagulls on the Marine Trail in Belfast.
Green parrots in a palm tree at Agra Fort, India.
Contorted flamingos having a nap in the Kuala Lumpur Zoo, Malaysia.
Cheeky Magpie-Jay in Costa Rica lured a little boy away from his fish and chips and then swooped up and then down and stole the fish!
A funny little owl in a prickly saguaro cactus, Arizona.
