My favourite sunsets from around the world.
Industrial sunsets in NDSM, Amsterdam’s Industrial Zone (Holland). One of the many sunsets in Puerto Vallarta, this one at the Sea Monkey Bar as seen through a Margarita (Mexico).
Different points of view, our very different photos of the sunset through palm trees at Carrillo Beach in Costa Rica.
The setting sun turns Delicate Arch red in Arches National Park, Utah, USA.
Sunset at Daddy’s on the beach at Pangkor, Malaysia.
Glorious sunrises and sunsets marked our boat trip through Halong Bay in Vietnam.
Ireland has magnificent sunsets and being with its changeable weather there’s usually a chance of a rainbow being added into the mix: Trummery at sunset.
Some competition on the theme ‘Golden’ from Mother Nature in Bagan, Myanmar.
Sun setting on the Western Sea, on my walk home from work. Sometimes it seems that no matter how dreary the day, the sun always comes out at the end, giving a applause-worthy finale.
Boat on the Chao Phraya River during the Loi Krathong Festival sunset in Bangkok.
Sunset at the ruins of Angkor Wat in Cambodia.
The end of the day with the camels of the Thar Desert in India.
Karst landscape at sunset in Vang Vieng in Laos.

Love the shot of the camel. Definitely worthy of a frame!
The camels were real posers – you couldn’t take a photo of the sunset without them photo bombing the shot!
The sunset through palm trees and the camels of the Thar Desert in India are definitely eye catching photos.
I was trying to capture both the sunset and something distinctive about where the sunset was – I loved taking pictures of the camels, they were so much fun.
The red arches is my favourite pictures – I love the warm colours.
I hesitated putting that one in; although we went there specifically to see Delicate Arch at sunset it’s the only picture without an actual sunset in it. I’m glad you like it!
I see so many sunsets at sea from my photography club friends, that one made a delightful change.
