I’ve never seen a country with more symbols than Holland.* One of the quintessential symbols of Holland is wooden shoes, even though nobody wears them any more…
except for goofy tourists… and silly cows…
Wooden shoes make great planters when filled with pansies…
Fuzzy ‘wooden shoe’ slippers…
*Some more things that symbolize Holland:
- Holland is Vincent van Gogh (on my Art Blog)
- Holland is Tulips
- Holland is Windy
- Holland Has Canals (& Bridges to Go Over Them)
- Holland is Cheese
- Holland Has Cute Houses
- Holland Has Bicycles

Wonderful :)) :)) Love the cow, too !!! Dawn
The cow is quite precocious, the way it daintily steps along in its ill-fitting shoes.
:)) :)) And the pansies in the “planters” are adorable!!! As are the BIG shoes on your man :))
Fantastic take! I love the shoes on the cow and the fuzzy slippers. Thanks for joining the challenge!
Very lovely snaps these are 🙂
