I wanted to title this ‘Paint the Town Red’ and have a gallery of buildings painted red.
However, I found that hardly anyone paints an entire building red, at least not the bright red I was thinking of. So here, instead, are small exclamation points of red.
A red dragon in a Singapore temple (with red trim). Red paint coats the hand of a Lenin sculpture in Freemont, a suburb of Seattle in Washington, USA.
At a car show in Vancouver there was this really hot really red hot rod. (Canada)
Red laquerware typical of Bagan in Myanmar.
A bright red spiral staircase in NDSM, an industrial area across the river from Amsterdam.
The red bridge in Hanoi, Vietnam.
Red bathing huts at Knokke-Heist on the Belgian Coast.
Razor wire on a red gate in Costa Rica.
Red high heels on a stone sidewalk in Xochimilco, Mexico.
A British red telephone booth in Ireland, UK. In the Republic of Ireland they’re green.
Red boats in harbour, seen from the Marine Trail in Belfast, Ireland.
Red and white Danish flags against the colourful houses of Nyhavn in Copenhagen, Denmark.
More of Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Reds.
Great idea to pick a colour theme. We had visitors who arrived complaining about their hire car – I am not interested in cars, but this one was a beautiful burnt orange and went with our red garden gates – of course I had to get my camera out!
A spot of red adds an accent to any photo!
Really beautiful photos! Can’t even say which one is my favorite. MZ
I’m glad you like them!
Red is a great accent color, great photos!
Red photos are easy to find because they pop out of the screen. But hard to choose as I had so many of them…
Such a fabulous gallery of reds for this week. Thanks for playing along. 😀
Amazing capture of that red spiral staircase 🙂
