Okanogan Lake is very moody in the winter.

The historic Gellatly Nut Farm is a BC Regional Park set on the lake near West Kelowna, BC. A man carved from wood stands watch on an old cabin at Gellatly Nut Farm Regional Park near Peachland in the BC Okanogan, Canada.Label of a tree called a Buartnut, apparently a combination of a Butternut and a Japanese Heart Nut tree neither of which I’ve ever heard of before.  Now I’m very curious about how they taste but will have to wait until the fall when the nuts are harvested. I have to say that maybe my camera was cold as it was photographing everything very blue. I tried adjusting the white balance but it wouldn’t let me so I have had to ‘warm’ everything up a bit in Photoshop. Even so it’s still very blue and shivery!
