Kids learning to face their fears by swimming under a small set of falls in a river in Brecon Beacons National Park, Wales. A walk along a river past Ladybower in the Peaks District of England. Angled rocks differentiate the river in Sneem, Ireland. Boats sailing past a temple on the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok, Thailand. The shallow Nam Song river with a walking bridge and lots of vehicles in Vang Vieng, Laos. Boat races at the festival on the Tonle Sap River in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Golden temple on the edge of the Irrawaddy River catching the sun in Bagan, Myanmar.The Mekong River, over 4000 km long, runs from China near Tibet through multiple countries until it drains into the South China Sea south of Saigon. The Mekong Delta of Vietnam has hundreds of tributaries and is packed with farms and people living both along the river and on it. On our jungle trek in the Cameron Highlands of Malaysia, searching for a giant Rafflesia, torrential rains had turned everything into rivers of red mud.
