War Memorial in Regina, Canada.
My Grandfather was the model, one of the few members of the Regina Rifles to survive the fighting at Vimy Ridge in France. This memorial erected in the 20s, and there hadn’t been a World War II yet, so World War I was known as the Great European War.
A friend that grew up with my mom told me where the memorial was, and said the statue looked just like him.
