This is a classic Cee Challenge post that I originally wrote two years ago and never published.
It seems appropriate upon her passing to present this rainbow of vehicles originally put together with one of her challenges in mind.
Pink.
Candy Apple Red.
Cuban Red.
Fire Red.
Orange.
Yellow-Orange.
Yellow.
Royal car, in the King’s signature yellow, at Dusit Palace in Bangkok, Thailand.
Green.
Antique Green. It used to be more popular as a vehicle colour, especially for trucks.
Garbage Truck Green.
Eco-green.
Blue-green.
Blue.
It seems that turquoise, pink and red were popular colours for fancy fifties cars; this is in a restaurant in Washington state.
Purple.
Black.
It seems to me that originally Ford only came in black with silvery chrome accents, and it appears that Chevrolet may have been the same.
White trucks, mostly used as a substrate for signage.
Or graffiti, Mexico City.
Or both, Vancouver.

This is a wonderful group of photos. You have some great colors and some classic vehicles. I love the photo of the water drops on the hood ornament.
I have been collecting images of vehicles for awhile, and the vintage cars certainly come in the best colours!
Great colors. We have such boring white, black, and silver cars these days.
Yes, vintage cars are such a shock of brilliant colour; today is almost as bad as when cars first came out in only black…
I couldn’t find a single silver car I liked enough to post…
