In the Royal Carriage Museum in Dusit Park, Bangkok, there are an array of antique vehicles with some unique-to-Thailand detailing.
The humanoid bird that appears on the back of the car is Garuda, the vahana (vehicle) of the Lord Vishnu, and the national symbol of Thailand.
A second Garuda appears on the lamp.
Another form of transportation for the kings of Thailand was the elephant, and here he is charmingly represented by this elephant hood ornament.
