It seems like every city in Holland has its own symbol.
But I think the ‘I amsterdam’ sculpture in Amsterdam’s Museumplein (museum square) is the best. Certainly everybody is into it (and on it and in front of it).
Even this seagull seems to want his photo taken!
Belgium, the country next door is also fond of symbols. Here are two from Brussels…
